All Wrapped Up

I love decorating gift bags that contain presents, it's amazing what you can do with a plain kraft bag.

Recently our friend's daughter was 18 and I wanted to "wrap" her present nicely so decided to use the "Hearts a Flutter" bundle to create a quick and pretty gift bag.  The great thing about this bundle is that if you purchase the "Hearts a Flutter" Stamps at the same time as the co-ordinating Framelits Dies, you will save a massive 15%.

I used Pool Party and Primrose Petals ink, both In Colours.  The ribbon co-ordinates too, this is the Stitched Satin in Primrose Petals, very lovely and creates gorgeous bows.

I used a Jumbo Rhinestone to create a little bling!

My Big Shot is so useful, here I used my "Typeset" Alphabet to cut out the number 18 in Silver Glimmer Paper.

Stamp them, cut them and voila, bunting in a flash!

Team Swaps

Firstly, Happy Valentines Day to you all, I hope you had a nice card from your sweetheart.  Mine was huge and full of lovely words and I have to say that although my card was small, it was hand made (of course) there wasn't much room for wording and I did feel a little guilty, but hey, my card was made with love so that counts for something surely!!

At the beginning of the month I went along to the Inspirin' Inkin' quarterly team training which I always look forward to.

When demonstrators gather together like this we like to "swap" card ideas, so here is mine:

I used the "Hearts a Flutter" stamp set along with a greeting from "Perfectly Preserved" which has carried over from the Autumn/Winter seasonal catalogue.

I love using Pool Party with Primrose Petals, the work so well together and I am trying not to think how I will cope without Pool Party and Island Indigo once they disappear in July.

I did a little embossing next to the Natural Trim using the Adorning Accents folder.

The hearts are cut out using the co-ordinating "Hearts a Flutter" framelits dies, then the small oval punch was used for the greeting.

The natural trim ribbon is lovely, works beautifully with the crumb cake cardstock.  The feint hearts are stamped using the "Itty Bitties" set which I know you are all loving too as you are telling me!  A little spritzing and some tiny pearls to finish.

Wedding or Valentine?

Today's card could be given as a Wedding Card but would equally work as a Valentine one too!

I love using the Whisper White ink with Crumb Cake cardstock, this you can see on my heart of hearts!  Both the tag and heart stamps were from the "Hearts a Flutter" stamp set which have co-ordinating Framelit dies to cut them out with ease.

The cute label is from the SAB set "Pretty Petites" which has a matching punch which I love.  I used the word "love" from "Pennant Parade" stamps to go inside my label.

The very feintly stamped ornate from on the whisper white layer is from another SAB set called "Vintage Verses".  I just inked up the outside frame with a marker pen to omit the wording that was in the middle.

Lots of spritzing to add a vintage touch.

Flutters all around.....

Lots of fluttering going on in my card today, the "Hearts a Flutter" stamp set and also the Bitty Butterfly, fluttering across the heart!

I used the Polka Dots embossing folder with the Core'dinations Primrose Petals Cardstock then sanded off the top layer to reveal the inner core, so effective.

The DSP is from the "More Amore" pack, love the colours in this range and hearts can be used for so many different occasions.  This pack contains two 12x12" sheets of laser cut hearts which I will share with another project soon.

The little "hello" image is from the Sale-a-bration set "Pretty Petites" which everyone is loving at the moment, I just punched out the centre using the Bitty Circle Punch.

More gorgeous Flower Trim, have you got yours yet, it is so pretty and perfect for our cards, the flower are not too bulky and very soft and squashy!!

And of course, the lovely Bitty Butterfly punch that co-ordinates with the Sale-a-bration stamp set "Bloomin Marvelous" that could be yours for free with any £45 order placed before 22nd March.

Thank you for stopping by, be back with more later

Collage Curios

My inspiration came from the Spring/Summer Catalogue, there is a picture inside showing a mini card with this design which I love, so I decided to replicate it as a larger version and add some designer paper to it.

I used a new stamps set called "Collage Curios" for the centre piece then the butterfly to the top left is from "Papillion Potpourri" which co-ordinates with the new "Bitty Butterfly Punch".  The wording is from "Itty Bitty Banners".

The stamps included in the Collage Curios set are shown below and just £14.95 in clear mount
and they co-ordinate beautifully with the new Soda Pop Tops, great value at £3.75 for a pack of 16, 2 of each size

In the next picture you can see a close up of how I have layered the images on top of each other using the Stamp-a-ma-jig, the 1" Circle Punch works perfectly with these stamps and the Soda Pop Tops.

I have also used one of the gorgeous new Paper Doilies which come in a pack of 24 for just £2.75, what great value and on this card I only used half of one!

The patterned papers are from the "Tea for Two" pack
