Rose Wonder sneaky peak

I've had a lovely break over the Christmas holidays, spent some lovely time with family, had some gorgeous gifts and I'm looking forward to the New Year and the launch of the Spring/Summer Catalogue and Sale-a-bration promotion!

Today I'm sharing a card we will be making at one of my 6 Card Classes during January, it uses a new stamp set and thinlits die set that will be available as a bundle, meaning you save 15% when purchasing both at the same time.

My colour combo is

Hello Honey
Lost Lagoon
Blackberry Bliss

all In Colours from last year, a gorgeous combination!

I ran the Rose Garden thinlits die through my big shot using Whisper White cardstock and attached it to a Brick Wall embossed layer of Hello Honey.

The birthday greeting image is from the "Rose Wonder" stamp set, and I used the label die from the thinliets set to cut it out, adding a punched bitty butterfly in Blackberry Bliss.

The strip of DSP (designer series paper) is from the Sale-a-bration offering which means that if you place a £45 order during the qualifying period of 5th January to 31st March then you can choose an item for FREE from a huge selection.  This paper is called "Wildflower Fields" and there is a gorgeous stamp set that works well with it.

Don't forget that you can still order from the

this continues until 4th January so it's not too late!

Place your order online, there will be a new Hostess Code beginning New Year's Day and if you spend over £25, apply the code to your online order and I will send you a little gift in the post to say thank you for shopping with me!

It's a Winter "Wonderland"

It's a shame it's so damp and dreary out there, can't beat a crisp frosty morning complete with blue sky!

I love the tree image in this set, it reminds
me of another set we carry called "Lovely as a Tree", a very long standing stamp set that has been in our catalogue since the beginning Stampin' Up! launched in the UK!

I have simply inked up the tree image with Black Ink then added some snowflakes from the same set in Soft Sky.

I've edged the top right corner using the Curvy Corner Punch.

The "Silent Night" greeting is also from the same, great value set!

It's Christmas jumper time in the studio, find out more about the fun things we do as Demonstrators, click to watch.....

I had lots of fun filming these videos and I hope you have enjoyed watching them.

We worked great as a team and of course had lots of fun along the way!

Thank you Stampin' Up! for giving me yet another opportunity to experience something new.

This one has to be my favourite photo of us all!

Jingle All the Way!

I'm really sad that this set isn't carrying over as an orderable product, I love both the edgelits and stamps equally and have used them many times since I purchased them a long while back!

Today's card uses a colour combo of

Crumb Cake
Pool Party
Whisper White
Silver

I love how you can layer these edgelits onto each other and the different combinations that can be achieved.  Also don't be fooled into thinking this set is solely for your Christmas projects, those trees and houses edgelits will make a variety of cards for different occasions!

I'm often commented on my "fussy cutting" and sorry for those of you who hate to cut with scissors, but Stampin' Up! really can't design a die or punch for every stamp they make, ha ha, as good as it would be, we wouldn't want to lose our hand cutting skills now would we!

I love to layer and find it hard to make things flat, but with some cards I really have tried hard to think about postage cards, but not this one, that's for definite!

Now we don't have a scallop border punch anymore, fear not, if you have the Squares framelits dies you can use the largest die with scallops on to create an edge like the one just above!

If you can't imagine being without this gorgeous little bundle of stamps and dies, then just visit my online shop

to make an order with me, or if you are local and would like to have your item shipped for free and are able to collect then just get in touch.

Remember this set is on the Retired List and won't be around for much longer so don't hesitate and miss out.

Last classes for 2015.......

and we are still working on Christmas projects!

Tomorrow I have my class at Quedgeley, this is my

"Make a Card Make a Difference" class where I donate money to my good friend Kim for her charity "Devotion Africa"

I will share the cards we are making after the class, but for now here's another recent card class, I really loved how this turned out!

My colour combo is

Real Red
Whisper White
Pool Party
Lost Lagoon

The gorgeous snowflake image is from the Autumn/Winter Catalogue and is called "Holly Jolly Greetings", it is available as a bundle with the Christmas Greetings Thinlits dies.

I love the many different combinations of greetings you can achieve with this set!

I used the Petite Petal punch to create a Poinsettia and then the Bird Builder punch for the leaves

The word "Christmas" was stamped using StazOn ink onto vellum cardstock, love the mat finish of the vellum, almost gives it a different texture.

My Hostess Club order will be going through any day now, so why not purchase something from the

before everything disappears!

Shop online with me using the latest Hostess Code and receive a free gift in the post to say thank you for shopping with me

Why not purchase some reduced Christmas goodies and make a head start on next year!!

Hope you've enjoyed today's card, I'm not ready to give up my Christmas crafting yet, I've got way too many ideas in my head for cards, treats and packaging, I'm just running out of time!
