I'm on my way!

This morning I am travelling to Barcelona, to meet up with some fellow Demonstrator friends to spend a few days together before the Global Incentive Trip Mediterranean Cruise commences on Saturday.

So at these events we are invited to take part in a swap session, I chose to make cards, there was a 3D swap option too.

So here is my finished swap, I have used some new products and if you saw my previous post you will see that I am asking you to leave a comment to guess which new products I've used on my swap, I will put all the names in a hat and send a little gift to the person I pick!  You can leave your comment on this post if you like.

My base card is Kraft, you can purchase this via my shop and it comes in 12x12 sheets.  I teamed it with Vanilla Cardstock for a more vintage feel.

You will recognise the Butterfly Die and I'm happy to say that it will be carrying over to the new 2016/17 Catalogue.

I used a couple of stamps from the "Awesomely Artistic" stamp set, another carry over item which I adore.  The fern and "splat" image are both from this set.

I will be restricted to Internet use whilst I am away but I will post whenever I can!

It's Swap time!

I am getting very excited as in 2 days time I will be leaving for Barcelona in preparation for the Stampin' Up! Incentive Trip on a Mediterranean Cruise that commences on Sunday.  I earnt this trip last year and Stampin' Up! pay for myself and a guest to travel, this will be my 5th trip and I can't wait!

I will be spending 4 days with some beautiful friends, Michelle, Monica, Amanda and Natalie, people whom I have met through being a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator and I am so happy to have a few days to chill with them before the cruise begins.

So on Saturday I began to prepare my swaps for this trip.  Here's all the elements before I assembled them.

Can you spot some sneak peaks?

Leave me a comment below to let me know which Sneak Peak products you can see and I will pull a name from the hat to send a little treat in the post to say thank you for stopping by!

I will share my completed swap with you later, first I have a little packing to do!

Thank you for stopping by, come back very soon!

Garden in Bloom

Morning everyone, hope you are having a great start to the weekend.

Today I am sharing a recent card from my 6 Card Club, at this class we create 6 simple but sweet cards for £10.

I've had the Garden in Bloom stamp set for a little while now but have only just got around to inking it up and I have to say I am in love with how pretty and simple it is!

It's a 2 Step Stamp set which means we use more than one stamp, layering them to create our finished image, but what I love about this set is that you don't have to stamp in 2 stages, you can just use the stamps individually and they work really well.  The stamps are also not solid images so they have depth to them too.

Onto my card, as per usual, pretty subtle with my colours lol!

Here I used So Saffron, Tip Top Taupe and Whisper White

I inked up the outline of the flower first and stamped onto Whisper White card, then for the second part of the flower, the solid image, I inked it up in So Saffron them stamped it off onto my grid paper before lining up with my first outline image, this way I had some second generation colour making it paler so that the outline image was more defined.

I've used another favourite stamp set here called

Awesomely Artistic

Love, love, love this set, so pretty and delicate.  The background flower, splats and label were all from this set.

Sending Thanks

Today I am sharing a recent card I created for my Team Training event in April, I used sneak peak stamps on this one!

I have been playing with my camera a little recently and I've also signed up to an online course to help me share prettier pictures with you, so watch this space, at the minute I am just experimenting!

I was inspired by a card created by Kerstin Kreis and used the sketch, loved how simple it was to create.  I love using neutral colours then adding in one colour to brighten it up!

I added some texture with staples, corrugated cardstock and also some Washi Tape too!

Sadly that little star punch is on the retired list, really going to miss that set of punches but I know the new 2016/17 Annual Catalogue is bursting with lots of gorgeous new products to enjoy.

Great news is that the lovely Heart Punch is here to stay, yay!!

Happy Home Notes Board

And finally the last project from my Happy Home Class, a cute decorated hanging board complete with notepad to write down those important things!

I followed the theme from the cards but this time created a double window using the Hearth and Home framelits dies, it's very easy to achieve this and if you like I can share some pictures how I lined up the dies with my cutting plates to create the longer version of the window.

We decorated a little notepad using the Love Blossoms papers which are sadly leaving us, I love the colours in this pack of DSP.

I used my Little Letters thinlits dies, sadly another gorgeous product leaving us, and I cut them out using the Corrugated Cardstock.

I love how this project turned out, it really is so much nicer in real life, the pictures don't really do it justice!
